OJB, also called OJ Jiggaman on June 14, 2016, died after a prolonged struggle with kidney disease.
Just this morning, she called on Nigerian music artists, who at some point in the past, had worked with the music maestro, to support his family of eight kids and three wives, even as they are soon to mark the second anniversary of his death.
The legendary music producer who worked with 2face to produce the famous “African Queen” also worked with the likes of RuggedMan, Weird MC, Paul Ik Dairo, Daddy Showkey, Sir Shina Peters, Olu Maintain, Faze, Iyanya, D’banj, Durella, Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Beenie Man, a Jamaican American-based musician.
It’s no wonder he is still regarded as the greatest music producer Africa ever produced.
Well, it’s been two years since he passed and nobody seems to remember to pay due homage to who he was in the industry, his legacy and the life he lived.
It is only fair to honour the memory of those whose legacy long stand as pillars for the entertainment industry.
Do you agree with his wife?
