Ariana Grande, singer of hit song “Side To Side” with over 1 billion online views is now engaged!
The 24-year-old singer today got engaged to American stand-up comedian Pete Davidson who is also of the same age. If you’ve been following these lovebirds, you know they have only been dating for a few weeks. Sounds like love in Tokyo, doesn’t it?
Interestingly, Ariana and Pete become romantically involved shortly after they both experienced a break up from their partners.
With such a beautiful news hitting the internet and fans congratulating the couple, it is also inevitable to find a few (or more) negative reactions. Here’s Davidson defending their relationship against trolls who criticized Grande for dating someone with a mental illness.
Find Pete’s responds to haters below:
“Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause like f*ck you,” Pete wrote on Insta Stories. “But I’ve been hearing a lot of ‘people with BPD can’t be in relationships’ talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship. It also doesn’t mean that person makes a relationship toxic.”
