Boko Haram Kills 15 In Kautikari, Borno.
Suspected members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram has reportedly killed about 15 people in Kautikari, a town located near the troubled Chibok town, Borno State.
Reports from Reuters states that some witnesses confirmed the attack was launched on Monday, December 29. Kautikari, which is situated near Cameroon border was the unlucky area the insurgents attacked.
Jonah Umaru who survived the attack said on telephone interview:
“They were about twenty, well-armed. They came in four- wheel drive vehicles and some motorcycles. Initially, I thought they were soldiers.
“The man running behind me was gunned down as I was fleeing. Afterwards, there were 15 people lying dead in the streets.”
The Noorth East has been facing terror since the Boko Haram group originated. Thousands of lives have been lost. In April, about 200 girls were abducted from Chibok in Borno State.
