Days after the city of New Orleans announced that a contractor that was hired to remove four Confederate monuments in the city quit due to death threats, a Lamborghini was found burned at the same contracting business.
During a hearing, city attorneys said the contractor’s company had received harassing phone calls and death threats related to the removal of the monuments.
The car was unrecognizable when it was found in the parking lot after it was left there overnight.
